private Wildlife Reserve of Montibelli, an ideal site to appreciate the
singing, forms and colors of over 149 species of birds, both migratory
and residents. Depending on the season, you might even see courting
ceremonies, nesting and how they feed their chicks.<p>
Montibelli provides the birds with a safe and comfortable environment
in which to live. It has all the characteristics of the pacific
tropical dry forest, with coffee growing plantations melting into the
scenery below the shade of colossal trees. In this habitat, we&#8217;ll be
able to find birds such as motmots, trogons, hummingbirds, wrens,
oropendolas, saltators, toucans, manakins, potoos, tanagers,
warblers... and many more in a wide diversity of birds that will please
the most assorted tastes.</p><p>

The city of Masaya is known as the "Cradle of Nicaraguan Folklore" and
during your visit to the market, together with tasting traditional
Nicaraguan food, you&#8217;ll have a chance to admire the craftsmanship of
local artisans in an ample variety of works offered at economical
prices.</p><p>
Amongst the handicrafts, you&#8217;ll find beautiful and finely embroidered
hammocks that are a symbol of national pride and an icon of our
culture. Today, Nicaragua&#8217;s hammocks are exported worldwide with great
success.</p><p>

excursion will take you just twenty minutes from Managua to admire the
majestic and imposing crater of the Masaya Volcano, 635 meters above
sea level. The crater is reachable directly by car.<p>
You&#8217;ll enjoy a magnificent view of this enormous crater, considered one
of the most active in Nicaragua. In the park, you&#8217;ll visit the
Interpretation Centre where you&#8217;ll learn about volcanic activity in
Nicaragua.</p><p>
After having spent some time admiring this incredible national park,
we&#8217;ll visit the archaeological museum of Nindiri. In this small town
you&#8217;ll see samples of items used by indigenous people of the region.
Then you&#8217;ll continue on to the town of Masaya, the Nicaraguan capital
of folklore and handicrafts, also the richest source of handicrafts in
all of Central America. The artisans of Masaya are internationally
known for their famous handmade hammocks. Beautiful woodwork, sculpted
masks, clay ceramics and handmade embroidered blouses can all be found
here.</p><p>
In Masaya, you&#8217;ll have the opportunity to choose from an incredible
number of unique local souvenirs to take home to your family and
friends.</p><p>

will see footprints from humans and animals escaping from a volcano

Ruben Dario, the new Metropolitan Cathedral which was the last built in
the past century, making it the most modern cathedral of our time.</p>
