Check-in pointers
Check-in time varies by departure airport, but passengers are generally expected to check-in at least an hour before scheduled take-off.
For faster check-in and handling at departure and arrival, passengers can obtain VIP assistance for a fee of 32euro per person (about $38 as of October 2005).
Business Class passengers can check in by phone on European flights if they're only taking carry-on bags. Passengers who only have carry-on bags can go to a special check-in counter that will speed the process.
