Frequent-flier program
In the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, passengers earn points on all Qantas flights and other members of the oneworld alliance: Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, and LanChile.
Points can be used for Qantas flights or flights on partner airlines: Air Niugini, Air Pacific, Air Vanuata, Alitalia, Airnorth, Brindabella Airlines, El Al, Jet Airways, Polynesian, Quantas Link, Sunshine Express, SAS, South African, US Airways, Australian, ASA, National Jet, O'Connor, Macair, , Swiss and Jet Star.
Airport club/lounge
Membership in the Qantas Club includes access to more than 250 lounges with dedicated check-in desks, beverage service and showers (at some airports). Membership fees apply. Members who fly with British Airways, American Airlines and US Airways can also access more than 200 partner lounges worldwide.
Carry-on policy
Carry-on baggage limits for Qantas passengers vary based on class and route, but economy passengers are generally limited to one carry-on bag plus one personal item.
In-flight meal options
A flexible food service has been implemented on both Domestic Business and Domestic Economy Classes that allows the traveler to pick from a combination of hot and cold meal choices, handmade cakes and other options.
Unaccompanied children
Qantas accepts children traveling alone, according to certain rules and regulations.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the passenger cabin -- except for service dogs, which must be registered with an appropriate authority. Pets are allowed in the cargo bin based on Qantas restrictions.
Cool or useful amenities
The "cocoon" design Skybed offers more comfort and privacy in International Business Class.
Make free seat-to-seat calls from an in-seat telephone. Sita Satellite Aircom phones are also available in-seat for a fee.
PC power outlets are available for laptop computers on some flights.
All passengers receive hot towels just before landing, while First Class passengers receive towels before the meal as well as before landing.
